kino.is is an information and reference service (a film catalogue and encyclopedia). We respect intellectual property rights and respond promptly to substantiated notices from copyright holders.

1. Important to understand

• kino.is does not host, store or distribute films, series or any other video files;
• we publish factual metadata (titles, years, genres, cast, ratings) and accompanying images for informational and encyclopedic purposes;
• viewing links lead to third-party legal services; their owners are responsible for their content.

2. How to submit a notice

If you believe that any material on kino.is infringes your rights, send a notice to [email protected], stating:

• which work/object of rights is affected;
• the exact links (URLs) to the kino.is pages containing the disputed material;
• confirmation of your rights (title-establishing information) or of your authority to act on behalf of the copyright holder;
• your contact details;
• a statement of good faith regarding the notice.

3. Review

Substantiated notices are reviewed as a priority, generally within 3 business days. If an infringement is confirmed, the relevant material is removed or access to it is restricted. If necessary, we may request additional information.
