Earth (1947)
The story of old farmer Grutz, who is considered a stubborn and unsociable man due to his unfriendly nature. His daughter Christine, a proud young woman, mocks young Hans, who asks for her hand in marriage, because of his humble origins. Later, she realizes her mistake, but Hans turns away from her.
