Orphans Woo-cheon and Michael have lived in the orphanage like brothers; they get into a religious conflict that is not resolved. Against the wishes of Michael who becomes a Catholic priest, Woo-cheon becomes a Buddhist monk. One day, Woo-cheon leaves on a 2-day journey with master monk Cheongsong.
