In the months right after the merger with the Santa Fe, Hal Pantti explored Burlington Northern’s “Coal Country”. Beginning at Lincoln, Nebraska, Hal traveled to Alliance. Then he followed a loop, traveling over the Angora, Valley, Canyon, Orin, Black Hills, Edgemont and Butte Subdivisions, finally
