A baker, James, in 1940s Ireland is known as his town's occult healer, a "secret" that is known by many townspeople there. However, eventually, a priest of the local Catholic Church finds out and is deeply disturbed. Driven by his discovery, he comes up with a scheme to blackmail James by demanding
