Snow, Moon and Bloom: The Manyoshu - Waka X 3 (2025)
The Manyoshu, Japan's oldest poetry anthology, was compiled over twelve centuries ago. This film portrays the elegant world of these poems as visual art using court music, traditional pictorial scrolls, Ukiyo-e, Nishiki-e, and animation.
