Don Ernesto—an elderly man—lives each day in a monotonous rhythm, trapped in routine and accompanied only by Duque, his pet bird. His routine is disrupted when he receives a phone call from his son, informing him of an upcoming visit. Moved by the news, Don Ernesto eagerly begins making preparations
