In the 17th century, witchcraft was persecuted for the evil it was believed to possess—but not for a young initiate from the village of Jabaloyas, not for Luna. The appointed night is near, and Luna longs to join the witches. Her brother Juan tries to pull her away from such cults and pagan beliefs,
