Somewhere in the north of Belgium there is a small village where pigeons occupy the sky, men occupy the land and the horizon is a frontier. This is where Karel lives, a pigeon fancier. Katrien was born here. From her parents house she could almost see the house of Karel. One day, like Karels pigeons
