- В ночь с 12 на 13 июля 2012 года у Майкла Дункана случился инфаркт и остановка сердца. Его подруга вызвала скорую и провела необходимые реанимационные процедуры, в результате чего сохранила ему жизнь.
- Скончался от болезни сердца после полутора месяцев лечения в одной из клиник Лос-Анджелеса.
