Renegade Game Studios will release a Princess Donut Dice Set in November as part of its Dungeon Crawler Carl tabletop line. The set costs $25 and includes one each of a D2 through D12 plus two D20s, all in semi-transparent purple. Pre-orders are open now for the dice set along with the full RPG starter set and the Unstoppable card game.
The starter set contains rules, pre-made character sheets, tokens and materials for the first two dungeon floors, while a separate core book covers higher levels. Supporters raised more than $13 million on Kickstarter after the project passed its $250,000 goal. The games let players create their own crawlers and collect loot in the same system used in Matt Dinniman’s series.
Dungeon Crawler Carl has sold over 14 million copies across eight books since the first volume appeared in 2020. Peacock is developing a live-action adaptation with Seth MacFarlane’s Fuzzy Door and showrunner Chris Yost. Jeff Hays, narrator of the audiobooks, is attached to voice Princess Donut.
In the books Donut began as Carl’s cat and gained speech from an enchanted biscuit. Her stat bonuses and personality have made her a fan favorite and the effective leader of the party. The dice set description quotes her reaction to the purple pieces and the D2 poker chip.
